Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas are hygienic, well-organized, and inviting for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following established safety protocols for storage, usage, and disposal Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high standards of floor care and appearance Conduct routine sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and prevent contamination Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed Follow safety procedures during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to prevent injuries Maintain cleanliness logs, report any facility issues or hazards promptly, and adhere to all safety protocols Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with safety procedures Familiarity with floor buffing, floor care, and general facilities maintenance tasks Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and manual handling procedures Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
