Your energetic presence and attentive supervision will help promote water safety, deliver excellent guest services, and assist in the deck supervision while swimming lessons are being conducted. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting dedicated to community wellness and fun. Responsibilities Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents, while swimming lessons are being taught. Respond swiftly and effectively to water emergencies, including water rescues and medical incidents Provide exceptional guest services by assisting visitors with questions, directions, and safety instructions Conduct safety checks of the aquatic facility, including inspecting equipment and ensuring compliance with public safety procedures Administer first aid, CPR, AED operation, and other emergency medical responses as needed Educate guests on water safety protocols and offer water safety instruction to children and adults alike Skills The ability to perform water rescues confidently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to respond calmly under pressure during emergencies such as cardiac arrest or medical crises Familiarity with public safety procedures and aquatic facility operations The ability to be accountable for being on time, reliable, and responsible.
