Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Worker and Housekeeping team member to keep our facilities in top shape. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and cleaning duties to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for everyone. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the upkeep of our property. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Perform repairs using hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques, including welding and carpentry. Maintain facilities equipment by troubleshooting issues and executing preventive maintenance plans. Handle plumbing system maintenance and repair, ensuring all fixtures and pipes are functioning properly. Carry out painting projects, including residential painting and maintenance painting to keep interior spaces fresh and appealing. Use schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations (MRO). Proficiency with electrical work, including electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, and using tools like ohmmeters. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, electrical work, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
