In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, contributing to a welcoming and hygienic environment. Your proactive approach and dedication will help uphold our commitment to exceptional hospitality service, creating memorable stays for every guest. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Handle various cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Manage the safe handling and application of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or linens to support housekeeping operations efficiently. Maintain sanitation by adhering to hotel housekeeping management procedures and industry best practices for cleanliness and safety. Support hotel emergency procedures by responding promptly to urgent cleaning or safety needs as directed by management. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored securely, and used correctly to maximize efficiency and safety. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of industrial cleaning techniques. Skilled in floor care including floor cleaning, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing to preserve surface quality. Proficient in the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Knowledgeable about chemical handling procedures and the safe use of cleaning agents in compliance with SDS guidelines. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and custodial experience in hospitality settings.
