Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing thorough cleaning, laundry, and surface sanitation tasks. Duties Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards for cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation. Perform checkout room cleaning , including completely stripping and replacing all used sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels. Make beds neatly and ensure all linens are clean, fresh, and properly placed. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers/tubs, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces. Dust, wipe, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and bathrooms as needed. Remove all trash and replace trash liners. Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest room amenities. Clean and inspect all areas of the room, including furniture, surfaces, floors, appliances, and high-touch areas. Complete stayover service in occupied rooms, including making beds, removing trash, replacing used towels and linens as needed, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing guest supplies, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the room. Follow hotel procedures regarding when linens and towels must be replaced and ensure all dirty or soiled linen is removed and replaced . Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and supplies in an organized and sanitary condition. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures. Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting daily room-cleaning expectations. Communicate professionally with guests and respond appropriately to guest requests when encountered. Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude toward guests and fellow team members. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with familiarity in cleaning surfaces, floors, and outdoor areas. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation procedures, and the safe operation of cleaning equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. Experience in laundry services and floor care techniques is highly desirable. Ability to manage time efficiently to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple properties. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
