Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Care for floors by performing detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and safety. Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently and promptly. Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold facility standards. Support team members with janitorial tasks or special cleaning projects as needed to maintain operational excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work within hotels or hospitality settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and janitorial equipment is advantageous. Previous experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus but not required. Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
