Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our meat processing team. This role involves working in a temperature-controlled (cold) environment to process, cut, package, and prepare meat products according to GGWC standards. Team members will also assist with a variety of tasks across the processing room to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform meat processing tasks including cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning products Operate processing equipment and tools safely and efficiently Package, label, and prepare products for storage or shipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and processing areas in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of sharp tools and machinery Work in cold environments (typically 0°F to 40°F) for extended periods Assist in other processing room functions such as grinding meats, operating forming machine, inventory handling, and staging products

Qualifications:

Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or similar environment Ability to work in cold temperatures for long durations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60lbs, and perform repetitive motions Willingness to learn and grow withing the company to take on multiple roles within the processing room

Work Environment:

Cold storage and processing areas with temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F Wet and fast-paced environment with exposure to raw meat products Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times

Schedule:

Full-time / Monday - Friday, 5am - 1pm.
