Primary Duties:
Applies various spices and coatings to meat products and puts them through the Deep Fry Machine for cooking Removes meat products from racks and places products on prep table Removes cooked product from outlet end of conveyor belt of Deep Fry Machine and also loads cooked product onto racks Inspects meat products for conformity to standards. Removes nets, casing and/or wrappings from product
Secondary Duties:
Use good manufacturing practices for food handling Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace Perform other related duties and assignments as required All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
Physical Requirements:
Capability to stand in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day) Capability to walk throughout department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day) Capability to lift up to 25-50lbs. on a frequent basis Requires the frequent use of both hands and arms Requires the ability to lift overhead using both arms Capability to bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day) Working Conditions/Physical Environment Due to refrigeration that is required for the products, the room temperature is maintained at a temperature between 28 degrees (F) and 34 degrees (F), therefore candidates must be able to work in this environment constantly throughout the shift (8+ hours per day) Constant exposure to raw meat products Due to constant spillage and sanitation, floors are slippery when wet Equipment and Machinery Used Knives, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, v-mags, and other materials necessary to the production and processing of products
Minimum Requirements Basic Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation Must be United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check Must be able to read and comprehend English Must know basic mathematic skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for purposes of a proper count of product in a variety of boxes and packaging sizes
