Job Description
Overview Opportunity:
Activities Attendant Responsible for promoting, assisting and facilitating fun activities and programs in the Resort continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsible for the successful execution of activities and events. Essential Job Functions Assist, promote, and facilitate all activities and programs for the Pool and Indoor activities. Bring fun and entertainment to our guests. Perform duties including, but not limited to, answering guests questions regarding the Resort Activities Program and local attractions Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handcrafts, and facilitating show activities, etc. Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety Perform general activities as needed Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Uses suggestive sales techniques to process order for rental of Cabanas for the day and assists guests with questions provide guest recovery Other duties as assigned by management. Position Requirements High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience. Previous energetic customer service experience Previous activities or daycare coordinator experience Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations. Work Environment and Context Frequently standing up and moving. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours in length. Handling objects, safety equipment. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to work long hours/split shifts and be able to handle stressful conditions.
