Duties Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards. Support menu planning and ensure consistent execution of dishes aligned with restaurant or catering concepts. Oversee inventory management, control food costs, and monitor stock levels to minimize waste while maintaining freshness. Enforce food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with all health regulations. Lead and motivate kitchen staff through shift management, training, and team development initiatives. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional guest experience. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the kitchen environment. Requirements Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision within a fast-paced hospitality setting. Strong background in fine dining or catering environments with banquet experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams of cooks and kitchen staff. Knowledge of dietary department practices, food handling procedures, and food safety sanitizing protocols. Familiarity with inventory control, cost management, and menu planning within the food industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage shift operations effectively. Prior experience managing food service operations or restaurant management roles is highly desirable.
