General Manager / OwnerPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of daily culinary operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a passion for quality food, excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and manage all kitchen staff, including scheduling and daily assignments.

Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistent quality.

Develop and maintain menus, specials, recipes, and seasonal offerings.

Maintain excellent standards for food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation.

Manage food ordering, inventory, storage, and receiving.

Control food costs, waste, labor costs, and kitchen expenses.

Ensure compliance with all health, food safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance when necessary.

Work closely with management to meet financial and operational goals.

Create and maintain prep lists, production schedules, and kitchen procedures.

Ensure proper food handling, labeling, storage, and temperature control.

Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture.

Step in and assist with cooking and kitchen production during busy service periods.

Address performance issues and provide coaching and feedback to kitchen staff.

Help ensure a smooth and efficient service from prep through closing.

Qualifications3+ years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in a leadership or Sous Chef/Head Chef role.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage food costs, inventory, and ordering.

Food Handler or Food Protection Manager certification required.
