Position:

Cafeteria Manager

•Northeast School

Description:

The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the position and in general, to establish and maintain a high level of standards of excellence in the Vernon Public Schools.

Requirements:

High school diploma, and at least 2 years Food Service experience required. Management experience preferred. ServSafe Certification required prior to starting.

Salary:

$24.05/hour

Hours:

7AM

•2PM Monday

•Friday Start date: As soon as possible

Essential Job Functions:

Manage 2 other kitchen employees

Prepare and serve quality food to students

Maintain proper documentation necessary for local and state Boards of Health

Maintain proper documentation of all food, material, and equipment inventory

Adhere to all sanitary standards in both work and attire

Adhere to school district menu as set by Food & Nutrition Director

Order all food, supplies, and materials needed for the program

Adhere to all standardize recipes

Assign kitchen personnel to various duties and move as needed

Run cash register, close cash drawer, provide total cash and meal count as required

Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment
