Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, from staff supervision and food quality to financial performance and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire teams, uphold food safety standards, and ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and profitably. Duties Lead and motivate restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a high-performance culture. Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control, proper food handling, and compliance with food safety regulations. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management. Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring, ordering supplies timely, and minimizing waste. Handle cash management responsibilities including cash handling procedures, shift banking, and reconciliation. Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control measures. Supervise kitchen operations to ensure food production meets quality standards while maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety management, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between team members while maintaining high service standards. Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes hospitality and exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with a strong background in food industry operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and financial reconciliation. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards. Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost reduction strategies. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and conduct interviews confidently. Background in culinary or food production roles complemented by supervisory responsibilities is highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and financial reporting; proficiency in managing hospitality teams is essential. $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
