Wright Brothers Catering Group is a small business in High Point, NC. We are professional and customer-centric. Our goal is to provide delicious food and excellent service in a variety of event settings while maintaining a fun and positive work environment for our employees.
Our work environment includes:
An Office setting with a family atmosphere On-the-job training Delicious food We are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager to join our team. The Catering Manager will oversee catering events at a partner venue in Colfax, NC. Acting as a liaison between the venue & Wright Brothers' main kitchen/office, the Catering Manager will be responsible for accurately inputting all event details into catering software and overseeing event staff on event day. As the Catering Manager, you will also be responsible for managing the event space, making sure our catering kitchen is organized, clean, and adequately stocked with paper goods & necessary equipment for upcoming events. The Catering Manager must also maintain positive relationships with the venue's Director & Event Coordinators. Many events will have similar structures and logistical considerations, but no two events or clients are the same! The Catering Manager will work mostly independently but will report to the General Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee catering for conference center events. Most often, catering includes breakfast, coffee service, and/or lunch with occosional dinner or evening cocktail events, Manage a team of 1-10 staff members during events. Professionally communicate with venue staff via email and phone Provide consistently excellent catering services to all of our venue's clients. Input event information accurately & with detail in catering software Total Party Planner. Send proposals & invoices in a timely manor Train new event staff and ensure that current event staff are following proper procedures before, during, and after events. Keep a clean and organized kitchen space and encourage event staff to do the same. This may involve creating and enforcing new systems or procedures. Drive a Cargo Van to deliver food from our main kitchen as needed Qualities for

Attention to Detail Critical Thinking Collaboration Skills Written and Oral Communication Skills Leadership and Team Management Reliable Transportation Timeliness; late arrivals for shifts will not be tolerated Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Applications Valid Drivers License with Clean Driving Record•Required Ability to drive a Cargo Van•Required Starting pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Hours will vary throughout the year based on workload. Weekly hours will range from 28 to 40+ Hours with overtime pay applied after 40 Hours.
Pay:
$20.00•$27.00 per hour
