Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Prior experience with POS systems and fine dining settings is highly valued. The Server will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale establishments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous Experience in hospitality roles like host/host or bartender is a plus Strong skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations are essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks Experience working in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or busy restaurants is beneficial Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for hospitality with your expertise in food service.
