Overview Join our dynamic team as a Waitstaff/Hostess and be the welcoming face of our vibrant restaurant. In this energetic role, you will create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth dining operations. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will set the tone for an enjoyable visit, fostering a lively and inviting atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Manage reservations and waitlist using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure efficient table turnover Provide attentive service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries promptly Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Uphold excellent guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing plates Support host/hostess duties by answering phone inquiries with professionalism and providing accurate information about the restaurant Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a lively environment Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences is essential Must be able to stand, walk, and move comfortably for extended periods throughout shifts
