F&B Server Chapel Hill Country Club - 3.4 Chapel Hill, NC Job Details Part-time 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Employee relationship building Full Job Description Job Summary The Server sets the stage for every Member and Guest's dining experience and carries direct responsibility for how that experience is remembered. A server's mission is to ensure every Member and Guest feels recognized, cared for, and genuinely welcomed from greeting through check presentation. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Anticipate Member and Guest needs proactively: refreshing beverages, clearing courses, and attending to requests before being asked. Provides high end food & beverage service to members and guests that includes taking orders, serving a wide variety of food and beverages including alcohol, and making suggestions based on preferences. Understands the importance of name recognition and warmly greets each member and teammate with a smile and direct eye contact. Ensures all orders are keyed into the point-of-sale system correctly and timely. Responsible for set-up, breakdown, cleanliness, and replenishment of event spaces and dining rooms. Maintains a positive attitude while demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication. All teammates may be required to be flexible and work in other service functions such as food running, Serving, hosting, etc. Reports to work on time, in assigned neat, clean uniform. Presents professionally in adherence with club standards. Participate in ongoing training programs to build food, beverage, and service knowledge; adhere to all Club policies and procedures. Develop and maintain good relations with Members, Guests, and fellow team members, both within and outside your department. Qualifications & Requirements Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Prior serving experience preferred; country club or fine-dining experience a plus. Reliable, cooperative, and able to work as part of a team toward a shared goal. Physical Requirements Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Able to work indoors and outdoors as needed. Able to lift and move tables, chairs, food trays, and similar items. Available and willing to work day and night shifts, weekends, and some holidays, including key Club functions.
