Lyon by Duck Island Bread Company is a French-inspired café serving breakfast and lunch daily. Inspired by the cafés and bouchons of Lyon, France, we are committed to exceptional food, artisan bread, genuine hospitality, and creating an experience our guests will remember. We are seeking friendly, energetic, and professional Counter Service / Servers who enjoy interacting with guests and take pride in providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Guide guests through our menu, daily specials, pastries, breads, and beverages. Accurately enter orders using the Toast POS system. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages. Deliver food to guests when appropriate and ensure an exceptional dining experience. Package takeout orders with care and attention to detail. Maintain clean and attractive dining, counter, and beverage areas throughout the day. Restock baked goods, beverages, and retail items. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Assist with opening and closing duties. Work as part of a team to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Qualifications Previous café, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Experience using Toast POS is a plus. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
