As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and beverage options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to uphold a smooth service flow. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards. Food industry experience including food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
