Job Summary Michael's Catering, Cafe, & Bakery is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Catering Server Associate to support catered events, private parties, corporate functions, weddings, and special occasions. The ideal candidate will provide professional food and beverage service while assisting with event setup, guest requests, table maintenance, and cleanup. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude Set up tables, chairs, linens, buffet stations, and catering service areas Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent hospitality standards Assist guests with menu questions, special requests, and dietary needs Monitor buffet stations and replenish food and service supplies as needed Clear and reset tables throughout events Refill beverages, utensils, condiments, and other guest supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and fellow catering team members Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and proper storage of catering equipment Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing catering supplies when required Qualifications Previous experience in catering, banquet service, restaurant service, or hospitality is preferred but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude Strong teamwork, organization, and multitasking abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment Ability to stand, walk, and carry food or beverage trays for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Paid training and onboarding Employee meal benefits when applicable Performance-based incentives Career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment About Us Michael's Catering, Cafe, & Bakery is dedicated to providing quality food, professional catering services, and exceptional hospitality for a variety of events and occasions.
