Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server or Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Skills Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation.
