Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and efficient order management. Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all details are correct. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including food handling and sanitation protocols. Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, balancing cash drawers at shift end with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables and assist with guest needs as required. Build positive guest relations through attentive service, personalized recommendations, and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests professionally. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
