Breakfast Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for weekend and holiday help. A normal shift is 5-6 hours a day. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while working collaboratively with kitchen staff and management. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner. Ensure all tables are properly set and sanitized before and after each use. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including sanitizing surfaces. Handle cash and process payments using the POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with food industry regulations. Skills Previous experience in the food industry, particularly serving breakfast in an upscale casual restaurant or similar setting, is preferred. Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic culinary knowledge to assist with menu items when needed. Familiarity with kitchen operations to communicate effectively with staff. Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payments.
