Job Summary:
Provide support to the Human Resources and Legal teams through a variety of projects and daily activities related to employee relations, recruitment, compliance, policy administration, training, records management, and legal documentation. Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while developing knowledge of employment practices, workplace compliance, and corporate legal operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support Assist with recruiting activities including candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and applicant tracking. Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires. Maintain employee records and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events. Help prepare reports, presentations, and communications for HR programs and projects. Participate in HR audits, document management, and records retention activities. Employment Compliance & Policy Administration Assist in reviewing and organizing HR policies, procedures, and employee communications. Support compliance-related activities involving employment laws, company policies, and internal processes. Help maintain HR documentation and ensure records are filed appropriately. Research current HR trends and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives. Legal Operations Support Assist with legal document organization, contract administration, and records management. Support the review and tracking of agreements, vendor contracts, and legal correspondence. Conduct research on regulatory, employment, and business-related legal topics. Help maintain legal files and ensure documentation is retained according to company requirements. Assist with special projects involving risk management, compliance, and corporate governance. Professional Development & Team Collaboration Collaborate with HR and Legal team members on departmental projects and initiatives. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and business information. Complete additional assignments and special projects as needed.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies Communication Professionalism Integrity & Confidentiality Attention to Detail Organizational Skills Problem Solving Teamwork Time Management Adaptability Customer Service Orientation Analytical Thinking Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Political Science, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be actively pursuing a related degree throughout the internship period. Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later. Candidates who have already graduated or who will graduate before December 2027 are not eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship, work, or leadership experience in Human Resources, Business, Legal, or Administrative functions. Knowledge of employment law concepts, HR processes, or legal research methods. Experience working with confidential information. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or document management systems. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
Language Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
