Job Description
Recruiting & HR Admin — Underground Infrastructure (U/I) Cross-Bore Division Romulus, MI
- Full-Time
- Reports to the VP of Human Resources We're hiring a hands-on recruiter for our U/I - Cross-Bore division.
- Run full-cycle recruiting for field and technical roles, in coordination with the Recruiting Manager.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates through job boards, trade schools, community outreach, and referrals.
- Screen for work ethic, safety mindset, and culture fit alongside technical qualifications.
- Build and maintain pipelines for hard-to-fill and safety-sensitive positions.
- Represent the division at job fairs, trade events, and community partnerships.
- Support HR-led retention, engagement, and performance processes; conduct stay and exit interviews.
- Serve as the on-site HR point of contact, routing employee questions to Human Resources. What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 2-4+ years of recruiting and/or HR support experience, with strong full-cycle recruiting.
- Construction, utilities, underground infrastructure, or field-services experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of employment law basics (FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA) and safety-sensitive hiring.
- Proficiency with
HRIS/ATS
platforms and Microsoft Office.- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both field crews and office staff.
- Discretion with confidential information and willingness to travel to work sites and career fairs.
PHR/SHRM-CP

Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
