An ideal candidate will have the following: Minimum 2 years of security/military/or law enforcement experience OR 3 years of customer service experience (mandatory requirement) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized/on task Customer service minded

GED Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Security is the profession of prevention. We are not law enforcement officers. Our primary function is not to chase down criminals or catch the "bad guys". Our job is to deter or prevent negative activity and modify behavior by educating individuals as to the rules and regulations of the client's property. It is imperative that officers know how to conduct themselves in a professional manner, which is to say, not get angry or overly aggressive. Officers must have the ability to articulate their position and communicate effectively- this is not an armed position but has the potential to become armed after being employed with First Response for a minimum of 1 year of employment, or if you have 4 years of armed security experience.
Duties will include:
Conduct vehicle patrols, foot patrols, and provide response services to client homes and businesses to ensure their safety Document observations and activities during assigned shift Perform daily locking and unlocking functions for the appropriate spaces Provide an initial response to security incidents to multiple clients Calling our 24/7 Dispatch and Monitoring Center for immediate support, back up, or follow up on a call Utilize our proprietary tracking and monitoring software to respond to safety events or send updates to our Dispatch and Monitoring center Graveyard shift- grab a free coffee/energy drink/soda from our staff room before heading out; you also have the freedom of stopping anywhere in your district for additional food/beverages!
