Job Description
Description Robert Half is partnering with a Minnetonka, Minnesota based client who is currently seeking an HR Generalist to support them in an interim capacity for 2-3 months due to a recent resignation. This position will play a key role in day-to-day human resources operations, helping employees and managers navigate core HR processes with accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of broad HR experience across employee support, compliance, leave administration, and compensation and benefits while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support for employees and leaders across a mid-sized corporation.
- Coordinate workplace accommodation requests and help ensure timely, compliant documentation and follow-through.
- Address employee relations matters by gathering information, maintaining confidentiality, and partnering on appropriate resolutions.
- Assist with the administration and tracking of leave related claims, including PFML tracking and other FMLA requests.
- Support compensation and benefits activities such as data review, employee communication, and routine program administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within HR systems, including UKG Pro, to support reporting and compliance needs.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation in Microsoft Excel to support HR decision-making and operational needs. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in human resources coordination, generalist support, or HR administration.
- Hands-on knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, and accommodation or leave-related processes.
- Experience supporting compensation administration and employee benefits programs.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG or other well known HRIS systems.
- Working knowledge of FMLA and PFML related processes, including documentation requirements and state portals.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize data and produce accurate reports.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a similarly regulated environment is preferred.
