Job Description
The Vendor Coordinator is responsible for assisting management with the day-to-day operations, vendor (Driver) recruitment, vendor compliance & Vendor Audits. Schedule is Monday to Friday (8:00AM-4:30PM
- we are open to moving this forward or backwards 30 minutes).
Responsibilities:
- Place ads for open needs and review online vendor applications from various job posting websites.
- Research and recruit new vendors locally, regionally and nationally as needed. Maintain a working relationship with vendors to ensure policies are being adhered to and compliance is being kept up to date.
- Work directly with Onboarding, procuring and maintaining vendor profiles.
- Ensure vendor compliance for insurance, vehicle registration, and licenses.
- Terminating contracts of vendors who are not upholding company policies and procedures.
- Follow all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required, and comply with relevant legal mandates.
- Work collaboratively with the team to build and maintain a solid, trusted database of contractors/partners.
- Regular travel required for orientations, audits and to assist with startups. The coordinator must have a valid Driver's license & a readily available vehicle.
- Oversee & follow up on all correspondences regarding your Sites' drivers.
Requirements:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred but not required. Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet.Interpersonal skills:
ability to foster teamwork and motivate/coach others. Knowledge of local and regional geographical area. Accurately and quickly read maps. Make optimum decisions under pressure and time constraints.
