• Shimmick is seeking a talented and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a growing corporate footprint and project backlog.

In this role, you'll manage full-cycle recruitment processes for professional hires while building strong partnerships with both prospective candidates and internal business leaders. • Responsibilities
• The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: + Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

+ Sources, screens, and engages candidates through networking and referrals, proactive sourcing, and direct outreach. + Collaborates with department managers to identify accurate hiring needs. + Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. + Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. + Assists with the interview process, coordinating candidate travel, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, as needed. + Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. + Travels to company offices and project sites, as needed. + Performs other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ BA/BS degree + 2 years of relevant recruiting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Exceptional organization skills with strong attention to detail; deadline driven. + Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills; confident in public speaking and presenting.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the construction industry, ideally inclusive of professional-level civil, mechanical, and electrical positions. + Experience hiring craft/skilled trades positions in the construction industry. + Agency recruiting experience highly preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. + Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of professional roles. + Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment (OFCCP, etc). + Proficiency with applicant-tracking software such as iCIMS and/or UKG, and other recruitment systems such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. + This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 per year depending on experience and/or education. Shimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical, dental and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA.
