We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our animal sanctuary team as Farm Help/Animal Care. The ideal candidate will love animals and be committed to their well-being. This role involves caring for a variety of animals, maintaining the sanctuary grounds, and assisting with daily farm operations to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all residents.Responsibilities:
Feed, water, and provide basic care for animals including livestock, poultry, and other sanctuary residents. Clean animal enclosures, barns, and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene standards. Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to senior staff. Assist with the transportation and handling of animals as needed. Support habitat maintenance and general farm chores such as fencing, gardening, and equipment upkeep. Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for staff and animals. Passion for animal welfare and love for working with animals. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in animal care or farm work is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn about different species and sanctuary operations.Pay:
