Job Description Our part-time dog handlers care for the health and safety of daycare and boarding dogs, as well as regular cleaning of the facility. Experience Required We prefer vet, kennel, or grooming experience with dogs. Skills Keeps a watchful eye on dogs to prevent unwanted behaviors. Accountable and reliable Attention to detail - able to differentiate between 5 similar dogs Demonstrates initiative Engages with up to 20 dogs in play yards Continuously maintains a clean facility. Interacts with dogs for their mental stimulation. Logs dog behaviors, health concerns and time-outs. Records all incidents and health concerns. Documents food, supplements and meds for boarded dogs. Rotates dogs from kennels to exercise areas throughout the day. Cleans and organizes towels, mopheads and blankets.
