About the Role East Bay Pet Care LLC is seeking two reliable, energetic Off-Leash Dog Walkers to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who love working with dogs, enjoy being outdoors, and can maintain a high level of professionalism with a premium client base. Key Responsibilities Lead safe, structured, and fun off-leash group outings Provide occasional leashed dog walking and cat pet-sitting services Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and management Learn and apply company training techniques for off-leash success Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all animals in your care Qualifications & Skills Experience with dog handling, walking, or training preferred Knowledge of animal behavior and pack management is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and team-oriented Self-aware, mature, and eager to learn What you don't know about dog behavior, dog breeds, and dog walking, we can teach you! This role will come with considerable paid training. Requirements SUV or van required Comfortable working with both dogs and cats Professional appearance and communication skills Consistent availability Ideal Candidate We serve a high-end clientele and expect excellence in both care and communication. Candidates should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and willing to grow within the company. Schedule The role requires working 3-4 days per week with start times between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. based on client needs. Shifts typically last 4-7 hours per day, with occasional short weekend shifts.
What We Offer Starting pay:
$20/hour (after training) Mileage reimbursement: $0.76 per mile Additional pay: $2.50 per extra dog in group (potentially $5-$20 extra per day) Paid Time Off Paid Training 401(k) Flexible Schedule Employee Discounts All equipment and supplies needed will be provided by East Bay Pet Care.
