El Camino Pet Grooming is a very busy, full-service pet grooming salon in Tustin, California, looking for a professional and compassionate Dog Groomer/Stylist to join our team. We believe in creating a safe, healthy, and happy environment for every pet we serve. We are seeking a full-time groomer who is passionate about their craft and dedicated to providing patient, gentle, and humane care. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a professional who thrives in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. About the Role The ideal candidate is highly skilled, punctual, and has a genuine concern for the feelings of our customers and their beloved companions. We are an appointment-only salon with a schedule of Tuesday - Saturday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Commission & Tips:
50% commission plus tips, with compensation dependent on experience.
Job Requirements Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of professional hair cutting grooming experience is required.
Technical Skills:
Must have excellent scissor skills and breed-standard knowledge. Confident with breed-specific cuts and standard services. Proficient in hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing. Confident in performing electric nail filing, external anal gland expression, de-matting, brush outs, ear cleaning, and dog bathing.
Professionalism:
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficiency without compromising care. A friendly, customer service-oriented attitude with proper business etiquette. A strong team mentality and a helpful spirit. A commitment to a high standard of work that goes beyond mediocrity.
