Independent Dog Groomer - Atlanta Dog Trainer Atlanta Dog Trainer is looking for an experienced, certified dog groomer to join our team at our dog training, daycare, and boarding farm in Milton, GA. This is a great opportunity for a groomer who enjoys working independently and wants flexibility without the traditional salon environment. About the Position Our groomer will have their own dedicated grooming trailer/space located on our farm. The space includes a grooming table and workspace, while bathing areas are shared with our staff. Our facility is a busy, outdoor-focused dog farm, so you should be comfortable working in an active environment with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. We are looking for someone who can work approximately 3-5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services including full grooms, trims, baths, blowouts, deshedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming services
  • Safely and confidently handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming space
  • Communicate professionally with our staff regarding grooming appointments and individual dogs
  • Recognize when a dog may be too stressed, uncomfortable, or medically inappropriate to continue a groom
  • Treat every dog with patience, kindness, and appropriate handling Requirements Professional dog grooming experience
  • Grooming certification required
  • Must provide professional references
  • Confident handling dogs of all sizes
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor/farm-style dog facility
  • Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and be able to prioritize their comfort and welfare Schedule Approximately 3-5 days per week Scheduling is flexible and can be discussed based on availability and the needs of the business.
About Atlanta Dog Trainer Atlanta Dog Trainer is an established dog training, daycare, boarding, and grooming facility located on a multi-acre farm in Milton, Georgia. Our environment is very different from a traditional grooming salon—we have plenty of outdoor space, an experienced dog-care team, and dogs coming through our facility every day. We are looking for a groomer who wants to make the grooming space their own, work independently, and become a long-term part of our team. Pay:
$50.00 - $80.00 per hour
