• We service clients south of the River, North of Waldo, West of highway 71 and East of Mission Ave. Join our Team! We are seeking a passionate Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to join our team. If you love spending time with furry friends and enjoy the outdoors, this role is perfect for you. Responsibilities
• Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each pet in your care
• Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pets' walking routines
• Provide fresh water and treats as instructed by pet owners
• Report any health or behavioral concerns to the pet owner
• Must have a working cellphone with data to work our app. Skills
• Experience in animal handling and restraint
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices
• Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Nice-to-have skills: Veterinary technician or assistant background, Pet sitting, Pet grooming, Dog training Service Area
• Must live in our service area
• We service clients in the Rivermarket and south to the Waldo neighborhood.

Preferable the applicant lives south of the Missouri River and close to or north of the Waldo neighborhood to be as time efficient as possible.

Hours:

Dog walking : Most clients want their dog walked between 10 am and 3 pm. These are 15, 30, or 60 minute walks.

Pet sitting:

We typically visit our clients at a minimum 3 times a day between the windows of 7-9 am, 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm. Some clients ask that we stay overnight and those details can be discussed if you are available. To learn more follow this link: https://newmansdogtraining.com/join-our-team
