An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
- Bathe, dry, and brush dogs safely and thoroughly
- Handle dogs calmly and safely during grooming prep
- Clean and sanitize bathing areas, tools, and salon spaces
- Assist groomers with daily tasks and dog care
- Help with client check-ins, check-outs, and phone calls
- Take bookings and assist with scheduling
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments
- Keep the salon stocked, organized, and clean
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members What We're Looking For
- Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license
- Experience with dogs preferred (grooming, kennel, daycare, vet, etc.)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Calm, patient, and attentive to animal behavior and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Available to work alternating weekends What We Offer
