As a Dog Care Giver, you will spend your days tending to the dogs under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the dogs as well as walking or socializing dogs as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all breeds, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment. Responsibilities Follow guidelines to feed all types of dogs, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every dog under your care has a safe, healthy living environment Socialize and exercise dogs under your care as needed Interact with the dogs, providing a positive human experience Maintain proper records of all dogs and care given throughout your shift Qualifications Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time Familiarity with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite Must be able to lift 50 lbs
