Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barn Staff member to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional care for horses and maintaining the overall functionality of the barn environment. You will be responsible for daily animal care such as feeding, cleaning out stalls, providing fresh water and giving hay to the horses. We have both AM and PM shifts available. The pay is a flat rate of $60 (for PM shift) and $30 (AM shift). PM shifts are typically 3 hours and AM shifts are generally 1.5 hours worth of work. If you thrive in outdoor settings and enjoy working with animals, we would love to work with you! Responsibilities Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring to promote well-being and proper horse care practices Assist with stable management tasks such as mucking out stalls, bedding replacement, and ensuring clean and safe living conditions for all animals Turning horses in/out General farm and barn upkeep Requirements
HORSE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible Comfortable working around horses and other animals Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, bending, and cleaning Must work well independently and as part of a team This is a great opportunity for students, pre-vet or animal science majors, or anyone who enjoys working with horses, wants to learn, and loves being outdoors.
