Full Job Description Salary Range:

$47,424.78 - $47,424.78 Works under the general supervision of the assigned Director to provide customer service to all visitors including adopters, owners of animals in our care, volunteers, and donors. Processes adoptions and redemptions with designated shelter software. Handles cash and cards for various adoption transactions. Advises and responds to complex customer inquiries regarding services, ordinances, and procedures related to sheltered animals and general animal welfare including animal availability, service timeline, and fees utilizing phone, e-mail, and social media. Creates, updates, and maintains electronic records associated with customers and animals. Assists owners of lost pets and adopters in successful adoption matching using the shelter software system. Provides safe and humane handling of animals on occasion when needed. Adheres to disease management and safety protocols. Contributes to the programs and services that support the shelter's live outcome goal. Creates and edits various reports. Maintains various records and files. Proofreads, edits, and/or prepares written correspondence, presentations, charts, etc.
