This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, takes pride in quality work, and wants a consistent schedule with an existing customer base. This position is full-time and offers the opportunity to work independently while being supported by a professional pet care team. You will be the primary groomer, serving both loyal grooming clients and dogs enrolled in our daycare program for services such as baths, nail trims, and other grooming maintenance. What We're Looking For At least two years of professional dog grooming experience, including hair cutting/shaving (formal training or equivalent hands-on experience) Strong breed-standard grooming knowledge and advanced scissoring skills Experience safely handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Excellent customer service and communication skills A dependable, self-motivated professional who takes pride in their work A portfolio showcasing previous grooming work What You'll Do Consult with pet parents to understand grooming requests and recommend appropriate services Bathe, brush, dry, clip, hand-scissor, de-shed, trim nails, clean ears, and perform other routine grooming services Schedule appointments and manage your daily grooming calendar Check pets in and out while providing exceptional customer service Maintain accurate grooming records and client notes Keep the grooming salon clean, organized, and sanitized Assist with light grooming-related laundry and salon upkeep Help promote grooming services through outstanding client experiences Schedule & Compensation Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week) Established clientele to help you build your book quickly Competitive commission based on experience plus 100% of earned tips Paid Time Off available after one year of full-time employment Physical Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, safely lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, reaching, and comfortably handling dogs of all sizes throughout the workday.
