About Us Fairview Boarding is an enrichment-focused dog-care facility offering lodging, daycare, grooming, and training. We get to know each dog as an individual and create experiences suited to their personality, preferences, energy level, and comfort. About the Position We are seeking a creative, dependable, ambitious, and dog-savvy Dog Enrichment Specialist to make each dog's stay engaging, meaningful, and fun. This hands-on role combines individualized canine enrichment, daily dog care, program development, social-media content creation, and occasional client relations. Key Responsibilities Canine Enrichment Provide individualized enrichment based on each dog's needs, personality, preferences, and comfort level. Facilitate scent games, puzzles, confidence-building activities, movement games, creative play, and themed experiences. Adapt activities for puppies, seniors, shy dogs, energetic dogs, and dogs requiring individualized care. Help develop and execute monthly enrichment themes and activities. Prepare materials, treats, props, and equipment while keeping enrichment areas clean and organized. Observe body language and engagement, adjusting activities as needed. Record participation and observations for client report cards. Track supplies and identify opportunities to improve the enrichment program. Social Media & Content Capture photos and short videos of dogs participating in approved activities. Assist with Instagram, Facebook, Stories, and Reels content. Write or assist with captions and organize content for easy access. Highlight enrichment experiences, monthly themes, and special moments while following client permissions and company guidelines. Dog Care & Facility Support Safely handle dogs and provide meals, water, potty breaks, accommodations, and daily care. Clean and reset guest rooms, enrichment areas, and equipment. Monitor dogs for changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or physical condition and promptly communicate concerns. Support daily operations and maintain a clean, safe, organized facility. Client Relations Communicate warmly and professionally with clients in person, by phone, and through approved channels. Answer basic questions, share appropriate observations, and help address client concerns. Represent Fairview Boarding's standards and commitment to individualized care. What We're Looking For Professional dog-care experience is preferred. Knowledge or strong interest in canine behavior, body language, and enrichment. Creativity, initiative, ambition, and a desire to help build an exceptional program. Confidence handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Ability to take quality smartphone photos/videos and familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Stories, and Reels. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and client-service skills. Dependability, sound judgment, teamwork, and willingness to accept feedback. Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, cleaning, walking dogs, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability as scheduled. Schedule Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 6 pm What We Offer $16 to $18 per hour plus tip $2,370
