Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a reliable, organized, and team-oriented General Salon Assistant to join our growing salon. This is a great opportunity for a licensed cosmetologist who wants to gain experience in a high-end salon environment while learning from an experienced team. This is a support role focused on creating an exceptional experience for our clients and assisting our stylists. Initially, this position does not include performing hair services . As you grow with the salon, there may be opportunities to expand your responsibilities. Responsibilities Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience Shampoo and condition clients' hair Prepare clients for their appointments Assist stylists throughout the day as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment Restock retail and backbar products Launder towels, capes, and salon linens Assist with opening and closing duties Help check clients in and out using the salon booking system Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments when needed Ensure refreshments and client amenities are stocked Support the team wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly Qualifications Current California Cosmetology License (Required) Recently graduated from cosmetology school or looking for your first salon position Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting Schedule Part-time 3-4 days per week Weekend availability is a plus Schedule will vary based on salon needs What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional client experience and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
