Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Barber to join our vibrant salon team. This role involves providing expert hair care, styling, coloring, and grooming services to clients, ensuring a positive and personalized experience. The position is offered as a booth rental opportunity, allowing flexibility for full-time, part-time, or day-to-day rentals. Candidates should have a strong background in cosmetology and excellent customer service skills to build lasting client relationships. Duties Perform professional hair styling, cutting, and grooming services tailored to client preferences. Provide expert barbering services, including traditional and modern styles. Conduct hair coloring treatments utilizing color theory principles for vibrant and customized results. Apply hair extensions and other hair care treatments to enhance client satisfaction. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with safety standards. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the beauty industry to deliver innovative services. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and salon productivity. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification with experience working in the beauty industry. Proven skills in hair styling, barbering, hair coloring, and hair care treatments. Knowledge of color theory and application techniques. Experience with hair extensions is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and consultation. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently within a booth rental setup while maintaining high standards of service. Flexibility to accommodate various rental options: full-time at $150/week, part-time at $100/week, or day rentals at $50/day.
