Skin Care Lead Employment Type:
Commission Based Exempt Employee Compensation:
starting at 35% commission per service/$15.00 per hour for meetings and mandatory trainings Job Summary The Estheticians at The Well House are responsible for providing exceptional, customized therapeutic skin care services and treatments to clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and contributing to the overall clinical excellence of the skin care department. The Esthetician will maintain professionalism, adhere to all service standards and protocols, and uphold the therapeutic culture of The Well House. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Service Delivery Provide professional, high-quality skin care treatments tailored to the individual needs and concerns of each client, including specialized facials. Experience with body treatments, and hair removal services (e.g., waxing) are encouraged. Conduct thorough client consultations, reviewing health history, assessing skin needs, and recommending an appropriate course of treatment. Actively promote and sell retail products, offering clear, educated recommendations for home care regimens. Ensure clear understanding and adherence to client confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. Operations & Clinical Standards Adhere to established service protocols and maintain accurate, up-to-date treatment documentation for all clients. Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and professional appearance of the treatment room before, during, and after each shift, in accordance with state board regulations. Assist in monitoring and tracking retail and professional supply inventory, communicating needs to the Lead Esthetician. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting any issues immediately. Participate in scheduled team meetings and required training sessions. Professional Development Maintain current and valid Maryland Esthetician License (or ability to quickly obtain). Proactively seek and maintain up-to-date continuing education requirements to stay current on industry trends and techniques. Work collaboratively with the Lead Esthetician and other team members to foster a cohesive and professional work environment. Qualifications Valid Maryland Esthetician License (or ability to quickly obtain). Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience providing skin care services in a professional setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of various skin conditions, product ingredients, and professional treatments Proven ability to achieve sales goals for retail skin care products a plus. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and highly professional in conduct and appearance.Pay:
