Led by experienced artist Monica Laratta, the studio focuses on delivering customized, high-end results tailored to each client's features and preferences. Clients visit Allure for meticulous techniques, a refined aesthetic, and a relaxing, upscale experience. The team is committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism while helping clients feel confident and polished. Role Description The PMU Artist and is a part time or full-time, flexible schedule; on-site role based in Cedar Grove, NJ. This role involves performing permanent makeup services such as brows, eyeliner, and lip treatments, and scalp pigmentation in accordance with studio standards and client requests. General responsibilities include consulting with clients, assessing facial features, designing treatment plans, and delivering precise, safe, and high-quality applications. The PMU Artist Lash Technician will also maintain a clean and compliant work environment, document client records, and provide aftercare guidance. Collaboration with the studio leadership on service improvements, product recommendations, and client retention initiatives is also part of this position. Qualifications Strong technical skills in permanent makeup application (brows, eyeliner, lips) with attention to symmetry and detail or willing to train. Knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols, including adherence to local health regulations and standards for cosmetic procedures. Excellent client consultation and communication abilities, including active listening, clear explanation of procedures, and professional client service. Artistic eye for shaping brows to complement individual facial features, skin tones, and style preferences. Ability to manage time effectively, handle back-to-back appointments, and maintain accurate client records and consent documentation. Relevant licenses or certifications in permanent makeup application is required by New Jersey, with ongoing commitment to training and skill development. Experience working in the cosmetology and/or high-end beauty environment is a plus along with familiarity with premium beauty products and tools. Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small studio team to support a positive and inclusive work culture.
