Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match client preferences and trends Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized after each use and uphold the highest standards of hygiene throughout the day Stay current with industry trends such as esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion techniques, and other beauty services to expand your skill set Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (acrylics and gels), manicure/pedicure techniques, and sanitation standards Familiarity with salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Ability to perform advanced treatments such as esthetic laser procedures or dermabrasion is a plus but not required Strong retail sales skills coupled with retail math knowledge to upsell products confidently Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure a positive client experience
