We are committed to supporting our team members and ensuring the well-being of the pets and clients we serve. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role combines front desk responsibilities with vital clinical support, requiring excellent communication skills, animal handling expertise, and a strong understanding of veterinary procedures. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional pet care and client service. Need to be compassionate, hard working and honest. Must be able to work until closing on weeknights. Training is available. Pay commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint, handling, and basic animal husbandry to ensure safe and stress-free examinations. Provide pet grooming or pet care assistance as needed to enhance client satisfaction. Manage inventory of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and pet products while ensuring compliance with veterinary clinic standards. Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet health, treatment plans, and preventive care recommendations.

From $17.00 per hour
