Responsibilities Make clients and their pets feel comfortable and welcome. Complete a full diagnostic work-up, including lab work, X-rays, and other in-house diagnostics. Proficient in blood draws and placing IV catheters. Intubate, induce, and monitor anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures. Dental scaling, polishing, and full mouth dental radiographs. Triage routine, urgent, and emergency situations. Discharge patients after exams and procedures. Able to gently handle, lift, and restrain dogs and cats. Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Qualifications and Skills Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and teamwork. Excellent computer skills. A current Registered Veterinary Technician license is a plus. Benefits Salary range is $25-31/ hour, depending on experience and licensure. Alternate work schedule (4/10); Closed Sunday. Paid holidays and vacation. Health coverage. 401K. CE Allowance and License Fee Reimbursement. Discount on veterinary services. Uniform allowance.
