ROOF & LADDER WORK REQUIRED MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH HEIGHTS, LADDERS & ROOF WORK

Bugging Out Termite & Pest Control is looking for a reliable, hardworking Animal Control Technician to join our growing team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, working outdoors, and is comfortable working on ladders, roofs, soffits, peaks, and elevated areas of residential homes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Animal Control Technicians help homeowners safely remove nuisance wildlife from their homes and prevent animals from returning.

Responsibilities include:

Inspecting homes to identify animal entry points Removing animals from soffits, attics, peaks, roofs, and other areas of the home Performing wildlife exclusion work Sealing and repairing animal entry points Working safely on ladders and roofs Installing exclusion materials Performing basic carpentry and exterior repairs Using hand and power tools Working safely around wildlife Communicating professionally with homeowners Taking before-and-after photos and documenting completed work Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle and equipment Providing excellent customer service from start to finish

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who: Is NOT afraid of heights Is comfortable working on ladders and roofs Knows how to properly set up and use a ladder Has experience with roofing, carpentry, construction, home repairs, or similar hands-on work Is mechanically inclined Enjoys problem-solving Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work Is comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Has good communication and customer service skills Can work independently and as part of a team Is willing to learn wildlife control and exclusion techniques Previous animal control or wildlife experience is a plus, but NOT required. We will train the right person!
