Full-time position Consistent weekend-focused schedule: Friday through Monday Opportunity to join a passionate, growing team $42,600•$52,000 total annual compensation (based on 40hr work week) Founded in 1988, Weems and Stephens Equine Hospital is a full-service equine hospital established as a 24-hour referral center for horses requiring specialized medical and surgical care. We offer a full range of services including surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, sports medicine, advanced diagnostic imaging, and podiatry. We strive to provide premier quality care to our patients and remain committed to raising the standard of equine care. We are growing and are looking for a talented Weekend Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time position follows a Friday through Monday schedule and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative equine care team. This position will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Assist with outpatient and ambulatory appointments Utilize and maintain in-house lab equipment Thoroughly clean exam rooms and medical equipment Assist with surgeries as needed Daily treatment of in-house horses Success in this position will be determined by the following behaviors: Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic Trustworthy, exemplifies utmost integrity and honesty Extremely disciplined with strong follow-through skills Humble, dependable, and a true team player Compassionate, maintains a positive attitude at all times This is an hourly, full-time position with bonus opportunity. Total compensation is in the range of $20•$25 per year depending on experience. Medical experience with horses and the veterinary industry is required.
